How to Pawn Breguet For Cash

If you own an Audemars Piguet Breguet watch, you may want to know how to pawn it for cash. These watches are highly regarded for their quality and ability to maintain their value over time. Depending on the brand, you may have to pay a premium for the pawned watch or settle for a lower value.

They are pawned for cash

If you think Breguet are expensive, you’re not alone. Millions of other fine art pieces, including rare paintings, have been pawned for cash. But why? This question evokes feelings of nostalgia. Whether or not a Breguet is valuable depends on its provenance.

They are appraised by a pawn shop

A Breguet is one of the world’s most expensive watches, and it’s even more rare to find a genuine example. Fortunately, a pawn shop in London is on the lookout for such rare pieces. Its new owner, Rick Bryant, knows how to appraise fine jewelry, including Breguet. Among the items appraised by Rick are items from the past. These include an 1845 Harpers Ferry musket, a quilt with celebrity signatures, and an ice marker from Antarctica. Rick’s staff also comes across a rare 1925 pair of handcuffs and a Gibson Les Paul guitar.

During the course of the appraisal process, a pawn shop employee will verify the authenticity of each item. A Breguet watch, for example, is more valuable if it comes with a letter of authentication. In addition, if the piece has a box, bag, or accessories, it will increase its value. Likewise, a pre-Civil War daguerreotype studio camera will add to its value if the box or bag is still in the box.

Another episode of Pawn Stars offers a different perspective on how a pawn shop can appraise an item. One episode features the appraisal of an exploding dye pack of $10 bills, a burnt copy of the 1932 NFL Playoff Game program, a 1968 REO Flying Cloud hot rod with bullet-proof glass, a coin-operated computerized breathalyzer, a Revolutionary War officer’s commission, a miniature Model T Ford with working motor, and a one-man midget submarine.

Another appraised item was an Abraham Lincoln campaign ribbon from the 1860 election. Chumlee also appraised a 1913 Victrola phonograph signed by James Smith. In addition to these rare pieces, the shop also appraised a collection of sports memorabilia. The owner even offered to buy a collection of World War II aviator gear. A rare antique car model from the 1850s is also appraised, as is a 1970 Honda Z600.
